Who operates JobCrawls, how crawling works, and what the data covers

Below is a plain-language overview of the operator, how listings are collected, and the limits of any jobs index. Legal details live in the privacy policy and terms.

Operator

JobCrawls is published by TechTactics Oy, a Finnish company. TechTactics develops the product, sets editorial standards for explanatory content, and handles registered user accounts (for example saved searches) as described in the privacy policy.

How crawling and indexing work

Our systems discover job postings and related metadata from public career sites and employer-published channels. URLs are queued, fetched in a controlled way, normalized, and deduplicated so the same vacancy does not spam search results.

We do not log into sites on behalf of candidates or bypass employer terms. We respect robots.txt and applicable law.

What the dataset covers—and what it cannot

We prioritise Finland and roles where Finland is a relevant hiring geography, including remote and hybrid jobs that are genuinely open to applicants based in Finland.

Not every role is advertised publicly: the hidden market and networking fills roles that never appear in any index. Metrics and explainers are derived from public listings; they are indicative, not a complete census of the labour market.
